7 Indulgent Advent Calendars for Journalers
Hi Friends,
What are you watching to relax this weekend? I’ve been taking my self-care in the form of unboxing videos for expensive advent calendars. I thought I’d share a few with you, in case that’s your thing too.
Some of these are sold out, but that doesn’t get in the way of watching someone else open theirs.
7 Indulgent Stationery and Journaling Advent Calendars for 2024
Erin Condren 12 Days of Organization Advent Calendar ($34.50) Erin Condren actually has two advent calendars, both $34.50. One is stationery accessories and the other is organization. To me, the presentation is pretty mid, but the final set looks like something I would reach for to take down a quick note or make a speedy to do list. Click for un-boxing.
Archer & Olive Festive Flurries Advent Box ($125) This company has a quarterly themed box that I’m always drooling over. A few years ago they had a navy paper notebook with jelly pens that was dreamy. The advent calendar would be a fun way to dip a toe in and get a sense of their products without committing to a subscription. Click for un-boxing.
Martha Brook 24 Days of Stationery ($139) SOLD OUT. Knock offs of this beautiful advent calendar are everywhere right now. Accept no imitations -- watch the unboxing video for the original. I’ll be checking back in 2025 to get my own. Click for unboxing.
Gingerbread Holiday Advent Calendar from Hubman and Chubgirl. ($160) I’ve bought some sticker sets from this indie Canadian planner company and the quality of the products always exceeded my expectations. I would love to get this set if I wasn’t already drowning in Christmas stickers. Click for unboxing.
Papier 24 Doors of Desk Delights ($175) I think if I bought this calendar I would definitely use everything in it, and the packaging looks special and nice. To me personally, the price seems high, but I still enjoyed watching the unboxing. Click for unboxing.
Cultpens stationery advent calendar ($600?) I couldn’t find a listing for this box anywhere, but did find an unboxing video. This one is the ultimate indulgence, and would be among my first purchases if I won the lottery. (millionaire Kayleigh would get very into expensive pens) Click for unboxing.
Diamine Inkvent Calendar ($102.74) Because millionaire me would have all those pens and definitely need a few more bottles of ink to go with them. Click for unboxing.
Will you be doing an advent calendar this year? If you are, reply and let me know which one(s)!
This Week I’m:
Reading: The Spy Coast by Tess Gerritsen
Watching: Rivals on Hulu. We just finished watching the first season and I’m dying to know if *CENSORED for SPOILERS* is really *CENSORED for SPOILERS*! Should I read the book or wait for the next season to find out?
Listening to: The Rest is History podcast. I subscribed for a month of the ad-free membership and am already halfway through the new series on Admiral Nelson. This is a prescription level sleeping tonic, do not operate motor vehicles under the influence.
Take a Class with Me:
This Friday is my FREE Draft Generator Writing Session at Grub Street. I can’t believe how quickly this class came up! We’ll be meeting from 12:30-1:30pm. These free writing sessions are a great way to try out a Grub Street class and get a look at the writing center without any commitment. It’s totally free. Just be sure to register on the website first.
Thanks for reading!
Kayleigh
