Flash Fiction Class Returns in 4 Days!

Hi Writers!

Just a quick note to remind you that there are just 3 more days to sign up for “Flash Fiction: Brief. Bold. Beautiful.” in person at Arlington Community Education. It’s been over a year since I taught this class and I’m so excited to introduce a new group to my favorite genre (and spend more time with some familiar faces!).

What is Flash?

Flash Fiction – short stories under 1000 words – are perfect for beginning writers and busy people who want to fit some creative writing into their lives, because you can write a whole story in one sitting. Clocking in under 4 pages, and sometimes as little as one paragraph, these stories never overstay their welcome with readers, so they come with lots of opportunities to publish in lit mags, enter contests, or just share on social media.

This class includes lots of opportunities to create new work and share it for workshop feedback, and we always have a lot of laughs (maybe even a few tears) along the way.
